On February 28, 2024 the Choice Neighborhood Initiative Program team of the US Department of Housing and Development (HUD) visited the International District. Hosted by the Albuquerque Housing Authority and The City of Albuquerque, they met with the planning team and visited the housing target sites Wainwright Manor, Grove and Pennsylvania apartments among other community spaces in the International District.
